Drill bit won't grab metal screw

No

I don't know for sure but i am thinking that a 1mm drill bit will stand a better chance of biting into the metal...................

Hi all problem resolved, had to resort to drastic measures unfortunately.

For some reason the screw wouldn't drill whilst in the door.

I had to cut the door off as close to the screw as possible, i think i can buy just a new handle only for the door.

Upon opening the door up, i have found two other faults, joy of joys

Just thought i would keep you informed.
