Watching TV on the Computer

I have a home theater system in my room that is completely computer base. I want to watch regular TV on my computer. Is there a way for me to somehow stream that through my PC in real time?

Just buy a TV card and plug the source into it. Beware, this is still subject to a TV licence

Yep, just buy a TV Tuner. That will do it.

Or in the meantime just go to http://www.sopcast.org/. Free live channels.

I watch Wimbledon using their software.

You can also try http://www.tvunetworks.com. I've used this before to watch American Idol live.
