Do you use Facebook? The only reason I ask is that everyday I get emails just like the one you sent and they just happen to be people on Facebook who do all the game things on it like Mafia Wars etc - just seems a big coincidence to mewine~o wrote:northwales4u wrote:I've always used Yahoo! and never had any problems with it if thats any help
Me too.(Yahoo that is..) until recently..when every-one in my address book got an e-mail from me...with my name as the subject..luckily just an empty e-mail..
Its because one of the people I get these emails off is only on my facebook and xbox so the only way he could get my email address is via facebook - just a thoughtButterfly wrote:I have facebook, but I don't use any of those games or applications.

With Yahoo! you can set it up so you can use an email application to download your emails to read them offline but I prefer to keep it web-based so I can check my emails when I am on holiday etcdave.m wrote:Remember with web mail that you need to have access to the web to read even your old, previous delivered mail, and if your broadband connection is playing up you cannot access your old mail off-line, unless you have copied and saved every single one.
An account with your ISP means that you can work off line with your past mail. Just means setting up a new account if you change ISPs in the future.
there was an upgrade a fair while back & now my messenger no longer works, i was handy sometimes but a lot of the time i made use of the hide on-line status facilityMooncat wrote:Windows Live Messenger loads when I start. Does anyone here use it, and why?
