easy de rusting

bought 8 bottles off ASDA's finest own brand malt vinegar 52p per bottle.
filled a bucket with lid and placed a few mini parts into for a week.leave the lid on and leave it out side .
all you need to do is wipe the grease off before hand and wipe them dry when they are finished. forgot to take the before pictures but look at these mini hubs aren't they good or what.


since doing these hubs i have found out that white vinegar works fine to and is a lot cheaper

i got a set of cooper s hubs in the bucket for about 2 weeks now will be checking them very soon. they were really rusty.

is removes all surface rust but leaves the pitting on the metal. but quite wire brushing and they are like new.

save loads of money and lets me keep original parts in use

Get yourself round to the local Indian food store - they have vinegar* in 5ltr plastic bottles for peanuts.
