Right I recently removed a cabinet to install a dishwasher, however it sticks out a little bit and this annoys the wife.
The reason it sticks out is because there is some insulation that I left. Can I just remove this and push the dishwasher right against the wall? It is an outside wall under a window.
Cheers

Re: Insulation behind kitchen cabinet
I recon its been there for a long long time. Well the cabinet I removed was a corner one, so I only removed part of it. I had to saw the base to get it out. There is a thin piece of hardboard that goes right into the corner, so I would need to saw that too. I left it to save cutting that and also, I wasn't sure if the insulation was there for a reason or not. Is it normal to have it behind a kitchen cabinet?
Cheers
