I've been Tiling a little while now, but when it comes to Tile Trims I just cant seem to get it right. Either the placings of the Trim or the angles.
I've placed the Trims sometimes before i've Tiled or slotted them in after, but somethings quite not right.
Any advice would be a Godsend
Thanks in advance

i put the trims in just before I need too
cut them then stick them in the adhesive, this way you can move them a bit if needed
and if putting them on an external corner then tile one side first the put the trim in place and carry on

On occasions I have tacked the trim in position until I am ready to tile up to it and then replace the tack with adhesive.
For the mitre's I use a very small mitre box and junior hacksaw.
The trick is to keep the tile trim tight against the side of the mitre box.

i have found that to do good trims is probably the hardest part of tiling. i had the advice on here to do the face of the wall first then the reveals. that has really helped.
but to actually do them right all the time takes lots of trial and error. i think that people tend to have their own way of doing it. making it even harder is if the walls are out of level and existing plaster beads are bent etc.
im really happy with how mine turn out now but i wouldnt know where to start in advising anyone else how to do it.
sorry.

i use a carbon stone to rub down the edges to gain a smooth flat finish to the tile edge just before placing the tile trim this will enable the trim to sit flush to the tile edge
also a lot of care needs to be taken when fixing tiles that are going to be trimmed, use a level or straight edge ..butt it up to the tiles and look for gaps behind the level.adjust the tiles until theres no gap this will also enable the tile trim to sit straight on the tile
trim can be tricky if you dont square things up while tiling
