Kitchen fitting and Christmas.

Post by Loosenup »

Hi Any one else get this every year...
Clients want lot's of small things done that could have been done earlier in the year, but because Christmas is here it has to be done now .... but , they only want you in the house for 30 seconds cos they got guests arriving ..
I actually had a phone call on Monday asking if I could change the worktops on a kitchen before wednesday.
However .. these small jobs can pay well if you have the time to do it all.. seems like suppliers like to play find the item this time of year also.

Worked already booked for new though .. so to all fitters here.

MERRY CHRISTMAS , HAPPY NEW YEAR , AND LET'S HOPE WE ALL GET WORK NEXT YEAR

Well I was supposed to be getting a kitchen fitted 2nd week in november... suppliers sent wrong fittings first, then the replacements were damaged... poor fitter tearing his hair out and he finished off a week before Xmas.... I then tiled the floor on the 18/19th and God bless him he came back on the 23rd to fit the plinths.......

Well pleased with the work, the man is a star and although he was subcontracted he also works independantly and I'll be recommending him in my part of the world!!

A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL
