i do something similar to what that does,

i clamp a bit of 2x1 on top edge of the panel and sit it on the unit then using another bit of 2x1 and pencil scribe the bottom

I use a compass from my Helix Geometry set left over from my school days :-) Just checked, they still make them although my set is in a tin box :thumbright: http://www.ryman.co.uk/1342000325/Helix ... m&istBid=t

use an off cut of timber. Plot the scribe by using multiple measurements. Plus as already said.
