To Washboy or not to Washboy

Post by Jaeger_S2k »

Have read lots of stuff about them and like many a little apprehensive about £50 for a bucket and 2 rollers and a mesh basket?

Opinions and experiences welcomed, I saw your 'German Bargain' bathstyle on another forum, success or cheap tool?

It's well worth using on floors as it leaves a nice grout joint and is easier to use than a sponge. If you're not doing tiling all the time it's really not worth getting one.

I've got 2 floors to do and like many things the finish and ease that 'the proper tools' can give you are sometimes well worth the expense.

The purpose of me doing the internals of the extension is to save money, but not at the expense of finish or quality of the work. That's why on many things I'm asking questions and following best practice advice from the people who do this day by day.

The reason I invest in 'better quality tools' is that I feel I should have a better chance of producing a better result if I'm not hindered by crap gear.

I'm also thinking ahead, could certainly use it again if a job comes up requiring tiling.

Thanks for the comments guys. :thumbright:
