Snow....

Post by BillyGoat »

It's on it's way - I hate it.

Keeps trying with little blusters, but then dies away into rain. Wish it would just skip this year.....

Heavy frost and freezing in Hull. Am considering doing an anti-snow dance and praying to the God of guttering to skip my house this year :director:

I'll join you in that dance! Still think your guttering is going to fall?

It did last year..............lightning doesn't strike twice though. Think I'll remove the loft insulation for the winter period then replace it in the spring

haha....you need a roof like mine. Well, I call it a roof.....when you are in the loft during daylight, it's more like chicken wire......

I went up to get the christmas decs and the box I had the decs in is a tiny bit damp, not wet just soft
and i'm noticing a bit of rot in the rafters from the outside, not looking good.

gonna start saving my pennies for a new roof and if it fails in the mean time i'm hoping insurance will cover it! :help:

What sort of roof is it? Would you have a go at doing it yourself or get pro's in?

I've always fancied doing a full re-roof.

Sounds difficult - plus you'd have neighbours to be concerned about if it went TU.

Just looked at mine on Google Earth and thought "hmmm, perhaps not the BEST roof to learn on....
