Hi guys we have invented a new product called the Jadd Gate Keeper and we would be grateful if you could provide us with any feedback on the items.
The JADD Gatekeeper is the world’s first purpose designed debris free drop bar socket for gates.
It is a clever, discrete spring-loaded drop bar socket that instantly closes itself off once the drop bar is lifted out, meaning it should never fill with debris. Its simple design allows it to sit flush with the ground, meaning it’s not a trip hazard. Self-clearing, it’s a labour saving device to gate owner’s. Precision engineered, it is pleasing to the eye and it enhances the appearance of any set of gates.
It can be viewed in more detail at
Thanks in advance
Looking forward to any feedback....

It looks good but I have an even simpler way of keeping my socket clear of debris - I close the gates

Perhaps you should contact admin and offer a sample for one of our members to try?
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work

To me it looks like one of those things that will end up in a Betterware or Kleeneze catalogue. My drive is on a 30m slope down to the gates and I simply open the gates when I go through and close them when the motor is on the road - never had a problem with the 15mm copper pipe for the bolt clogging up
