Can anyone help me please, got quite a lot of masonry paint on my oak effect upvc which I got round to cleaning off tonight...nothing worked and in a mad fit of frustration I used nail varnish remover...removed the paint a treat BUT has also removed the oak colour!!
Well I only had T-cut in the cupboard and at first it seemed to restore the colour but an hour later and it has just gone back to white!

Any ideas????

ohh dear sounds like you went right through the film coating with the oak effect on. id imagine its time for a new door unfortunately

Don't panic , you could buy some stick on vinyl covering or special paint for uPVC......you won't need a new door.
