Rectangular ducting adaptor

Post by CHIPPYAL »

Fitting an extractor that comes with the standard 150mm width rectangular ducting kit, unfortunately the existing ducting is 110mm in width and I need to join, can you get an adaptor?

many thanks

Short answer is yes, I'd start with asking the kitchen supplier, and then the extractor manufacturer, if no good try an electrical merchant. They do exist

Actually I think you may struggle to do it in one fitting, Try a 150mm rectangle to round adaptor first and then a 150mm to 110mm round reducer, most of the parts can be seen here: http://www.i-sells.co.uk/ducting-system-150

I'm not sure if it's a good idea to reduce the duct size though.... Ok to increase it but to reduce it.....? :dunno:
