Joe Calzaghe

Post by ultimatehandyman »

I'm off to a Evening dinner tomorrow night with Joe Calzaghe at Blackburn Rovers football ground.

Tickets were a bit steep at £80 but it is a good chance to meet the legend

Lets hope he turns up and it is not a scam

They have spelt his name wrong on the tickets and they say Joe Calaghe

If you get really unlucky, you may find it is actually a football charity match with Joe Calaghe, the 1960's Blackburn Striker
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Well he turned up :thumbright:

It was a brilliant night and there was a couple of Football players there and a couple of actors from Emmerdale and Hollyoaks- good job my mate was with me as he could identify the stars ( I couldn't  )

Well worth the £80

Spent a bit too much money whilst there

£20 for a picture with Joe calzaghe and Richie Woodall

Then the auction started and I couldn't resist putting my hand up for a montage- £500

I also got Joe and Richie to sign a UHM business card :thumbright:
