the boy was very frightened.
i threw the lappy on the floor and kicked a bag right across the room.
he was suddennly frightened, burst into tears and try to grab my leg as i walked out.
i pushed him away and his mum went in to sort him out.
when i had calmed down i felt awful. sometimes you just know when your kids are really really sorry and have learnt their lesson.
have given him loads of cuddles to make up for it :thumbright:

right, i am going to order that screen for 129.

any last orders?

Give the lad another cuddle Panny, kid's can't get enough of them. :thumbright:
Wish i could remember my b*stard of a father ever cuddling me,
i remember all the punches and beltings vividly. :angryfire:
People forget how fast you did a job - but they remember how well you did it.

I no longer skinny dip, i chunky dunk these day's.

WM is right - kids do remember the bad bits (i had a bit of that) , so a cuddle and a explanaton on why you were annoyed at the time.

Also - he will remember how you took it out on the PC and the bag, but not him :thumbright: don't under-estimate the importance of that :thumbright: :thumbright:

I've bought screens from the same seller. They're good quality aqnd it's not too difficult to put them in.

Just check for dead pixels as soon as it's running, as any more than 3 and it's faulty so you'll need to return it.

that'll be your eyes!!

prob screen has a different "ID" to the old one and Windows has reverted to basic VGA resolution.

to change ....

Right-Click Desktop area
Click Settings tab on the winow that should have appeared

On Screen Resolution, prob set to 640x480 or some such - change it to what it should be (if you know)

Click OK ---- DO NOT click Apply -- and your screen will hopefully show what you want.

If you see nothing, don't touch anything and in 15 secs it will go back to as it was.
If you see something , but not what you want, click Cancel and try another setting

Soon as you see the resolution you want, Click OK and job done :thumbright:
