I first thought about these a while back but was too busy to make them, but just recently I have not been on site much so had the time.
Electric garage doors can be very insecure so for the last 2 years I have been using two G clamps to prevent the garage door from being opened, which meant you had to be inside the garage to remove them. Now with the new locks fitted I can open them from either side, without even leaving my vehicle.
Most of the components were purchased from sellers on ebay

excelent bit off engineering
you could do it with a bolt the same size through at least 2 fixed points and a geared down motor 1 50th the size
