Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum and was hoping that someone might be able to help me with a problem I'm experiencing in locating some kitchen unit doors in the correct size for a kitchen that I am trying to update.
The doors on the existing units measure 730mm in height, where neither Homebase, B&Q or Wickes seem to cater for this size within their ranges. I've no idea where the kitchen was originally from as it was already in the house when purchased.
I was hoping that someone might be able to point me in the right direction as to where I might be able to purchase doors in this height.... I do realise that I could have them custom made for the job, but I was trying to keep the costs down as much as possible and so hoping to find a DIY who happen to make this size as standard if anyone can help?
Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.
Thank you
Russ

Are you sure it's not a Wickes kitchen?
They may have told you their doors are 726mm high which is in fact the correct size for a 730mm unit.
For example the standard unit height for most UK manufacturers is 720mm, however the doors to fit are either 715mm (the most common) but some are 716mm. Both fit of course

Thanks for your reply, I will try and check with wickes to see what they say.

Go to speak to somebody in the kitchen showroom dept as I think their 'off the shelf' kitchens are the standard size of 715mm. But their 'to order' kitchens are 726mm
Or if it's just doors you want then you might be better off by passing them all together and going to 'Benchmarx' which are the same doors, owned by the same group and much more likely they will supply 'door only'
