Stunning female vocalist
I love a good female singer, despite being a heavy rock fan, I have music by Adele, Judie Tzuke, KT Tunstall, Sara Hickman, even Barbra Streisand in the CD rack.
A couple of weeks ago the TV was on, I wasn't really watching, but during the adverts the music on the Dior perfume ad stopped me in my tracks.
Anyway, a bit of googling and I found the music is by a band called London Grammar, and the singer is Hannah Reid.
I downloaded their album, and have been constantly playing it ever since.
Hannah has one of those one-in-a-million voices, (and she's very easy on the eye too). Don't tell the missus but I think I'm in love .
If you haven't heard her, heres a taster....

Great first post......
First it's the music corner, a place to discuss all things musical,
second it's Handyman.
I'm sure you would fit in in well at DIY Donuts.....

Re: Stunning female vocalist
In that case you must have two ofthe best modern female pop singers in there, Alison Moyet and Annie Lenox...... Brilliant, both!Chappy wrote:I love a good female singer, despite being a heavy rock fan, I have music by Adele, Judie Tzuke, KT Tunstall, Sara Hickman, even Barbra Streisand in the CD rack.

Hi,
Thanks for sharing Chappy; yes indeed lovely on all fronts. I've never previously heard of London Grammar; I noticed they do "Wicked game" on another YouTube video.Wicked game is a song I've enjoyed for years by Chris Isaac.
Kind regards, Col.
