Public transport
I want to attend the Big Green Home Show at Swindon. I would normally go by Arriva trains Wales from Carmarthen to Bristol or Gloucester. However, there is a strike scheduled for the day I would travel, bus and coach alternatives take far too long. I may have to go a day earlier to get a train!
I started out with nothing, I still have most of it.

Re: Public transport
Get onto social edia and ask if there's anyone else heading that way - you might even get enough interest to make hiring a car cheaper than using public transport.
Don't take it personally......

Re: Public transport
Isn't there a First Great Western service from Carmarthen straight through Swindon?
