New phone with call blocking...

Post by wine~o »

bought this http://www.johnlewis.com/store/panasoni ... d=35047738

On *Black Friday* half price, old DECT phone was fairly knackered, answering machine had already been... ahem.... "Modified" and was still unreliable.

New phone already has 4 numbers added to the blocked call list (PPI, Solar energy and another green scheme jobbie) despite being registered with the TPS I was still getting a call every other day or three..

Worth every penny of the £ 29 .95 it cost with the 2 year guarantee..

Edit...... and I've got "Jingle bells" as one of the 40 ring tones...

Thanks for this thread, it just reminded me to get these as I'm sick and tired of nuisance calls, these BT ones seem highly rated

Off subject slightly, but use Truedialer on my mobile to block unwanted calls.

It is a worldwide database that you can add numbers to. I have found it absolutely brilliant.

Oh and it is a free app.
