Tree of life lamp

Post by Hitch »

We wanted something to go on a blank wall...
So I plasma cut this out at work, welded a band around the edge to give it some depth then got it powder coated.
I then fitted some leds around the edge to achieve this...

Size is about 400mm.
Eventually it will be between a picture of each of the kids.

That's a very nice 'look' and must have taken ages to cut out! How difficult was it to hide the wiring though?

Pretty easy to hide the wires KE,
I went with a battery pack rather than mains and adaptor to save wires trailing. A tiny dab of glue gun on the inside corners to hold the wires. Unless you really look for it you cant see the battery pack either.

Actual cutting time is 8.5mins.
