can some one tell me if i can tile over melamine floor tiles these are on a concrete floor they are stuck down with black sticky stuff. it would be alot easier for me to floor tile over them if i cant please tell me why.. thanks

the problem will be that your new floor will be only held by the bond of the vinyl tiles. If you really do have to do this then I would pour a latex self level over them.

But I would remove them, it does take long,
