Not sure if this is right forum but here goes.
I am building a new ensuite in blockwork.
At this stage we are deciding what fittings etc to use.
Its going to have a shower, the room is once built will be roughly
800mm wide 2320mm long
all blockwork.
will have wc one end,,,,centre door,,,,shower the otherend.
Shower will have 3 solid block walls, bifold door front, stone resin tray.
Here is where I am stuck, I have allowed for width of tray, plus 17mm either side for travertine or ceramic tiles inc adhesive.
I was going to sbr prime
then sbr slurry the block work, in two coats cross hatched.
Then waterproof adhesive tiles on.
Is this O.K or do I have to use Aquapanel? Also I see In BQ they have something similar to aquapanel called mutiboard at £3 approx a sheet, is that for showers too?
Hope I have explained o.k
