Hi,
I'm in the process of removing and preparing to renew my ensuite. Planning to fully tile walls, but have removed the previous 'wet wall' boards to find a large hole has been created prior to their installation in order to move rad pipes. I dont know the easiest way to fill this in order to make it good for tiling, without cutting out a larger section and dot and dabbing new plasterboard on? Is there an easier way? Expanding foam? Don't really want to have to buy a full insulated board and pack of adhesive for just that, and d&d is sonething i havent tried before. Have included a pic to show what I mean.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Re: Insulated Dot and dab hole
what are you goin to do about the pipes?
what are you goin to do to the rough lookingsurface of the plaster board ?
are you going to tank or backer board the wet walls?
you can pack out the opening an then pin a piece of ordinary board through the packings. use off cuts of board or sand an cement for packing out.
