Ikea kitchen cabinets & other brand appliances/mechanisms

Hi,

I'm getting an Ikea kitchen but want to buy some of the appliances and internal mechanisms from another company to get better quality. I'm tearing my hair out trying to figure out whether they're compatible - any help much appreciated!

The first should be simple - a Miele extractor hood, it says it's a 60cm unit but the exact width is 595mm compared to 561 for the Ikea equivalent:

Second is the carousel for the corner cupboards. Again, the dimensions don't quite match. The standard is 800x800 or 900x900 cabinets, but Ikea's cabinets are 880x880:

Can I fit the Miele and Hafele products in place of Ikea's?

Assume that Ikea are playing it very safe on the space between cabinets and the extractor. I’ve just installed a rangemaster hood with no issues.

As for the cabinet, the Ikea carousel is pretty decent quality. I wouldn’t replace it.
