Best Finish for American White Oak

Post by Edz »

Hi. I'm about to have a set of stairs made in American White Oak. As they come off the dining room I'll put an AWO floor down too.

What is the best finish to use? Varnish, wax, oil? Also, should I consider staining? Or would that be bonkers? Cheers :-)

google "osmo" this is the manufacturer, then find a merchant/retailer in your area

all the products are good, they are expensive but the coverage pays for it, they also tend to be quick drying
