Tiling failure

Post by Suited72 »

Bathroom install done 8 years ago, wet room tray and travertine tiles. On the Left hand side shower wall I noticed the grout started cracking at the bottom row and the gap was big - about 5mm. I removed all grout from the bottom row last year, tiles were fixed solid. Re grouted with flexible grout.
Just noticed that the gap is now about 11mm on the left hand side shower wall and crack has re-appeared. Any ideas as to why?

Can only guess that the plasterboard or cement board is dropping for some reason.

Any obvious leaks/water staining ?
