Hi mayve a silly question but I'm no pro but i am a confident diy tiler , all the floors I've done at my home have had a concrete sub base that I've screeded and then tiled with no problem, what I've got is a small down stairs toilet but the floor is chipboard, now I know I need to ply it but a tiler mate has said I need to lay it in one piece ? My question is how do I get a single piece if ply in the room ? It's an odd shape with the waste in one corner ? I just can't see how I could do it ?

Re: Ply floor
That's what I mean , the rooms only 1.7 x 1.5 so it can be done in a single piece but no way it will go in like that , if I cut it in half I can no problem

Re: Ply floor
Cut it in half to allow you to fit it. I always use a good strong tape over any joins. I use the t-rex tape.
