I bought some bathroom downlighters and they had two identical ones except for the barcode. Checked the price at the till and one was twice the price.
Asked them to check (and reduce the more expensive one to match

) and they looked into it and came back and told me
"The cheap one is made in Poole and is being discontined
The expensive one is made in China and is the new stock"

very odd why they should change suppliers like that?

Numpty?? They are a quality piece of kit ha ha. If I switch mine on you can come and have a touch if you like! And yeah the box doesnt say where it was made or that it is BS. But at the end of the day thats what smoke alarms are for - all the dodgy lights I keep buying!
