Where to get a bag of pebble dashing stones

Post by hyperbole »

Hi,

I bricked up a window in the bathroom and now need to render and pebble dash.

I can't seem to find anywhere to buy just a 25KG bag of 3-8mm pebble dashing stones. Not too bothered about the colour as it will be painted.

Does anyone know where I can buy 3-8mm pebble dashing aggreggates in small quantiites?

Found some places online but they charge £40 for delivery for one bag which is silly.

I am in Orpington, South East London. Don't mind traveling a bit to collect. Any reccomendations?

Thanks.

Have you tried your local *Garden Centres*, or even places that sell fish pond supplies?
One day it will all be firewood.

If you go to a builder's merchant they might have a split bag at half price and you will surely find some spilled. The weight sounds like a lot but it really isn't that much.

tried Selco and Travis Perkins they both have 10mm pebble dash but I need 3-8mm.

Garden centers is a good idea. Will try that.
