Ford c max power steering

Hello,

Looking for some help. We have a 2008 ford c max and the power steering appears to have failed but no lights have come on the dashboard. What could this be? Could it be a fuse or the steering fluid. My help greatly appreciated.

I had a c-max a few years ago and had the same problem, the steering got worse over a few days and in the end I called out the AA ad they towed me to a local garage. They had to replace the steering fluid pipes that were fractured and leaking braking fluid, to do that they had to remove some major parts of the engine compartment because of the way the pipe is put in during manufacturing .
If you have had fluid appear on the ground where you park your car then that tells the story.
