Hi Guys
I'm trying to connect a Tacklife soaker hose pipe to a generic hose reel, I think I need a 'female' connector (push in) to connect the hose pipe to the hose reel. Any ideas guys?
Thanks in advance.

Difficult without photos but if you want to join two hoses together you need a male connector.

I had one of them hoses, absolute rubbish, it leaked everywhere.
But in all seriousness it depends on what you have and what the hose has, you have not said, or posted pictures. The one I had, I cut the connector off and changed it to one to fit my hose.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.
If gloom had a voice, it would be me.

hozelock are decent quality, the metal ones are good but pricey
https://www.hozelock.com/product-catego ... onnectors/
A quick google shows it connects directly to a tap so 3/4"
so one of these.............. (aka an accessory adapter)

If it is this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/153895263386?c ... gL-EfD_BwE
It looks like ¾" BSP so this should do it https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/114229906340?c ... gKLkfD_BwE
BUT! If it is a US product I think they have a similar size thread that looks like BSP but has a different pitch. Try it and see.
