Hi Everyone
I just got stung with an advert selling a digital angler finder on a in game (phone) app
selling what looks like a DeWalt digital angler finder. I expected a knock off chineezium version of the tool. The actual DeWalt tool is about £150 the price I paid was $79. The add is all singing and dancing showing the DeWalt tool features. What was shipped was a basic digital angler finder found on Amazon for £20. After a little haggling I got an $18 refund
If you see these adverts do not buy. Its money down the drain.

Hi DT, nice to see you again. I am always a bit skeptical of adverts as there are so many upsellers and crap merchants around. It is so easy to get done and even being careful you can get caught. If it looks too good to be true then it probably is

Seriously DT, don't beat yourself up about it too much.
Put it down to experience and move on.
We've all been had sometime if we'll admit it.
I remember a "set of steadfast screwdrivers"
They weren't "steadfast", certainly weren't made by "Steadfast"
And were barely actually screwdrivers!
It's over 40 years ago, and I still kick myself about it, although I hadn't become the total cynic I am today back then.
