I cut some porcelain tiles , using a continuous diamond blade and dewalt 125mm grinder, not happy with results, but all cuts are hidden.
Now i'm doing a small cloakroom rectangle 2m x 1m and tiles will be 1m up from floor
Using metro tiles 100x300x10mm ceramic
will possible have to cut 40 tiles depending on layout and around the back mitered in possibly
ATSdiamond have been recommended for a blade and they have suggested using a wet tile cutter
Looking at all the reviews , not a lot have good reviews and i don't really want to spend a fortune for 1 job, maybe 2 , and then of course could lend to family. a lot of blades are 110mm, I dont know why but i prefer the 180mm blade , maybe more options for future
anyway
But toppstiles seem to have 180mm blades , which I think would give me more choice from ATS or other suppliers
they do. 450W (£43.89) and 650W (£91.79)
Not sure of the brand, I'm sure its something like VITREX , but those models seem to have 110mm which dont have the choice of blades at ATS
look forward to any suggestions, comments , recommendations

I bought a Screwfix Ferm wet cutter for £40 and that was 15 years ago. I have used it quite a few times over the years and it still has the original blade. If you have somewhere to keep it fine, if not sell it on when you are done.

Thanks DWD for the speedy reply ,
Thats a thought , maybe get a better quality one and sell on , I do have somewhere to keep it in the workshop, and it maybe useful to the family (who are 1.5hrs away) in the future.
I think the quality 15 years are a lot different now, my brother had a very cheap one which is broken now and was purchased 20+ years ago , and he used on lots of project , including tiling my kitchen and bathroom back in 2007 , but nolonger available
I looked at a Ferm on amazon
https://www.amazon.co.uk/FERM-Power-Til ... B008SRJRWY
But quite a few poor reviews particularly bad , I do understand to be weary of reviews and look for trends in the < 3* to se eif its a winge or an ongoing issue

To be fair, it is a Chinese made tool in origin and it is not as elaborate as the one in your link. I bought it as a use and despose tool but it is still going well so I cannot complain. That tool looks like a fair bet actually.

Similar to DWD, I have a cheap one from Screwfix. I think mine is this one. Had it for about 5 years and it's still going strong. I'm a plumber so I don't do a massive amount of tiling, but I probably bring it out maybe 10 times a year because sometimes I have to break & replace tiles and I'm not paying a tiler to come in and put three tiles up for me.
I did also use it to tile my own bathroom about 4 years ago. Big-ish 10mm thick porcelain tiles, and lots of them. It was fine.
It's funny, I have a few cheapo tools like this that I bought to maybe get me through 1 or 2 specific jobs that have just kept going for years. I have a £60 Titan SDS drill that I've now used to core probably two dozen 4" holes through brick, concrete and block. And to chisel out old fence posts out of concrete and stuff. I keep seriously abusing the thing at it keeps coming back screaming "More! More! C'mon you pussy!"

Haste is the enemy of quality.
