Sorry for yet another post by me on this forum
Installer fitted new bathroom, sort of. Thought i would remove old tiles as most of them have hairline cracks etc .
After taking tiles and window reveal off i have came accross what looks like think concrete paneling? Im mythed.
Anyway, most of the (screed. I dont know terms) was flaking in 80% of this area so obv removing that which leaves the think concrete panelling.
I want to do the job properly so not sure how to treat this concrete/mortar panelling at window area (rest of bathroom walls just pb).
Ive got silka sbr and have primer g.
Should i pain the concrete/mortar panelling with sbr or primer g prior to fitting wall tiles?
Or does it need a thin layer of plaster?
Really appreciate any feedback and help.
Take care and thanks.
