Belfast sink fitment

Just about to make the cutout for the Belfast sink, I have the jig for that, but I have 2 questions, first, is there a standard or recomended position for the sink, ie level with the front of the units or level with worktop front ??
Secondly the base of the sink has reinforcing strips underside, running out radially from the plug hole, but they are not flush with the base so the sink is wobbly when sat on the unit underneath, is this normal??, if so do I just pack it out somehow or cut the base unit top to allow for the ribs ??

Ours was level with the base unit closed door, no problem underneath, if you pack yours won't it raise it too high?
You have to prevent water ingress around the sides!

I had to check ours even though i had fitted it and it's the same as aeromech's , flush with the face of the doors. It was supplied with packing pieces which were 18mm thick if i recall which did throw the sink slightly too high so i cut thinner packers to keep the sink flush with the top of the units.
