Feather edge fencing...should I hide the metal posts?

Post by barnsley7 »

I'm doing a fence 6ft high with feather edge palings.
I wanted to show the metal olive colour posts between the panels but I'm not sure which looks best now because the holes in the posts and screws will probably be visible which don't look great.

You seem to have answered your own question.
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

I think covering the posts with a board is a good idea. I would also fashion some post caps to cover the cut ends.
