Post by BulletRaptor »

Im after a drill/ driver and a impact driver in a package really!

Been looking at:

Bosch
Panasonic
Makita

This will be for personal use for now but as long as it last will be my tool of choice when i become qualified :thumbright:

Looking at the 200 quid mark!

if you can find the 2ah 18v makita twin pack floating about thats a good kit to get. I got a bargain in B&Q for a ryobi 18v impact driver and 18v combi drill for £70 after christmas and the impact driver is well worth the money IMO and im sure big-all will agree :thumbright:

£70 for the pair? excellent find :thumbright:
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Sorry should have stated i am training to be a chippy!

Looking at the Panasonic Combi with free cam at the mo, maybe about 300 quid!

Defo not Ryobi as i consider there drills to be very DIY

I've got one of these:

http://www.screwfix.com/prods/77831/Pow ... -Drill-18V

and then I got a bare Makita 18v impact driver from ebay for about £65. All works wonderfully.
