this might be a very stupid question but, in an external corner, once the angle bead has been plastered on both of the side, hence the edge is the only part visible, does it simply need to be painted over?

Hi everyone,
this might be a very stupid question but, in an external corner, once the angle bead has been plastered on both of the side, hence the edge is the only part visible, does it simply need to be painted over?
