Hi all


The website states this hinge is for an 18mm thickness door, how specific is this? As mine is 15mm.

The Blum 71B3550 ovelay hinge states it’s for an 18mm door. I wondered if the fitting process is different or Infact not possible if your door is 15mm? As the fitting process seems very exact and precise…

l would look at lay on hinges as they do not require mortices for the cup. You can use screws of a suitable length for the door thickness and they are concealed. See https://unico.uk.com/hinges/lay-on-hinges as an example/
