How to Fix Rusting Front Mesh of Computer Case?

Hello,

I used baby wipes to clean front mesh from dust but as a side-effect it oxidized paint and front mesh started rusting.

Can front mesh be restored back to its original condition? It wouldn't hurt for manufacturers to put notice about proper cleaning in product installation guide.

i would say there is nothing you can easily do as you can only paint it but that will cause paint to go where it shouldnt go so mesh need removing for treatment or replacing

big-all I don't know if mesh is removable. Would be nice if its is. Otherwise will have to use white tape to cover around.

more thinking about getting inside as water and electrics dont do well together
