Mini USB Jack - 5 Pin

Hi guys

i'm currently replacing the mini USB port on a gaming Elgato capture card.

I have found a replacement 5 pin mini usb jack but it has 4 mounting points rather than just the 2 at the front of the current mini usb port. Is bending/removing the 2 not needed rear mounting pieces something you can do or not really?

I have no real idea except these tabs are usually to prevent miss match, are you certain it is the same 5 pin.

I've ordered a pack of them so ile match them up with the old jack first before attemtping to solder.

It appeared they were a match on the photos and the 5 pins located at the rear of the jack appeared to be in the same place as well
