I have their 18g finish nailer. It hasn't missed a beat. I use a badaptor with a DeWalt battery. I still cannot fathom why their batteries are so unnecessarily expensive compared to others otherwise I'd be tempted to go for a couple of things.

yes there batteries are around 25-40% more than dewalt although you can often get say a tool and 2 batteries a charger and a bag for perhaps 20-30 more than just 2 batteries so i always suggest a starter set
i dont actually need anything in the"sale" but looking at
