DWD , the original budget agreed with the client ( her indoors ) was £6000 , I suspect at the moment we are heading towards £7000, but that now does include flooring and lots of those IKEA cube storage things , some of which will form the base of a movable cutting table.

The timber for the frame I did a deal on 30 lengths 4.8 C24 that had been stored outside so a bit grey for £440 so in current client that was a result , also did well on the plywood. For sheeting walls and roof.

Cut down an existing concrete base to size , so only cost there was hire of 12inch disc cutter , tin of DPM , I had a sheet of PVC DPM as well so belt n braces.

50mm PIR under floating chipboard floor , walls and ceiling 100mm PIR

After lots of messing getting prices for alll sorts from bi folds and aluminium , windows came from Essex Trade Windows £1008 , delivered on time and good product , white inside , graphite outside.

Hardie plank cladding from U Plastics in Newmarket as was all the trim plastics for the roof, roof was A Rubber roof kit , which was an absolute doodle to fit.

That is a result, that would have cost £20k if a builder did it I suspect. It looks really good, heating system next

Nice project congratulations.
Building it in the garden of an Italian house would be an odyssey of legislative bureaucracy and quarrels with neighbors.

That is absolutely awesome :thumbright:

I keep thinking about making something similar at the bottom of the garden here!

I’ve not checked in the show case gallery for ages, as I’m mad busy. Yesterday we moved to a new server and there have been a few issues with Avatars and images etc. I’ve turned a couple of your pictures the correct way up, not sure why some pictures want to be upside down. When I downloaded one of your images to rotate it, the image was upside down as a thumb and also when opened using the default photo viewing program on my PC, but when I opened it to edit the picture, it was the correct way up  Confusing or what

£7K for that is a bargain, I’m sure that will add plenty of value to your property and also increase the chances of selling it quickly in future :thumbright:

Looks great Chippo. I'd love to get something like that but every time I save enough money I end up blowing it for holiday🤣
