Roughneck (?!) saw tooth damage

Post by idkhow2diy »

What on earth did I do to this saw? I got it from Screwfix specifically to cut some uPVC shower panels - no metal, just plastic. How can plastic damage the teeth so much?

Makes you wonder if the tempering and hardening process of the teeth was defective. It has to be very precise process to get the hardness and strength right, they may be brittle. Screwfix should replace it.
