The correct screw... Howdens
Dear Everyone,
Just a quick question regarding Howdens and probably other manufacturers
What is the correct size screw for fixing the Feet to the cabinet and the plinth clips to the plinth?
My latest Howdens purchase has come up short on those small screws.
I used all that were supplied but didn't measure any of them.
I thought an online search would just point me in the right direction, but the variety of screws for kitchen cabinets
got me confused. So that is where I am right now asking for help.
Cheers

To be 100% sure, why not take just ONE out and measure it?
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.
Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.
If gloom had a voice, it would be me.

Measure the thickness of the cabinets and plus take into account the depth of the feet and plinth attachments. I normally use 16mm screws.

Thanks everyone for the comments.
I will go with what "Someone Else" suggested
"To be 100% sure, why not take just ONE out and measure it?"
It's kind of obvious once someone (pun intended) points it out
Cheers for the help

go to howdens and buy a box of screws
code hkc0024
they are the screws i would use for the plinth clips.
for the standard legs with howdens if you knock the 3 pegs in that is enough to hold them to the cabinet. ive never had one come off yet.
if its another manufacturer where they have the smaller part that has a single knock in peg or say like wren where theres no knock in peg i just use those screws i mention above. think they are like 3.5 x 13mm

stupidly enough i buy boxes of those screws. and most of the screws supplied from howdens kitchens get put in bucket as im doing the job. they then usually get left for the customer

The bloke at the desk called them hinge screws when I gave the product code
