Hi to all - looking forward to contributing and learning....and happy to take any gentle advise or ribbing along the way!!

I work in interiors (Im good on ideas) but more design based (lacking in practical experience!), embarking on my own long term refurb and this looks like it will be my new hang out

Mettysander, I suggest you check the date a post was made before you reply, Wannabee to whom you said welcome said hello in July, and has only made the ONE post, so will never read your post.
