Hi,
I'm painting over some gloss with eggshell and will sand before applying primer/undercoat and then the eggshell.
When sanding, what is the objective? Is it to remove the gloss paint completely? (I'm hoping not) Remove just the sheen layer of paint?or simply provide enough of a key for the undercoat to stick to? (i.e some leftover flossy paint is fine).
Thanks in advance
