I’ve almost finished the base for my greenhouse. There’s a concrete footing with a mini wall of engineering bricks. The green house rests on the bricks, with a small overlap at the edge, thus it is watertight. The bricks have three holes in them, as seen in the photo. Normally these need to be covered, to prevent water collecting and freezing in winter, but in this case they will be inside the greenhouse. Is there any reason to fill them with mortar, rather than leave them as is?
I am tempted to fill them.

Yes, if you don't, they will accumulate all sorts of stuff that you will later clear out and wish you had filled them in, in the first place.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

I think you’re right. Wood lice and slugs would like those holes.Someone-Else wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 9:44 pmYes, if you don't, they will accumulate all sorts of stuff that you will later clear out and wish you had filled them in, in the first place.
