I had assumed that it wasn't solid oak.

The door is an "engineered white oak door". That means its chip core with Oak rails and a White Oak paper veneer on it. Thats a ridiculous price for a pair of doors that aren't even real wood!!!
Why not nick the picture and go get a price from a local joiners shop! Rather than buying a set of crappy veneered doors from China!!!

Engineered is usually a term for veneered nowa days, look and engineered flooring! i fitted an Engineered oak Front door from wickes, on my mates bungalow, we had to remove 35mm so it would fit that left 2.5mm of oak on both edges.
when trimmed to height you could see the different timbers that the door was made from inside!
if it says SOLID then it should be, but if it says engineered then its only a veneered door in reality!
